Project Overview

Located in Benkanhal and Sulekal villages of Kanakagiri Taluk, Koppal district in Karnataka, the project envisions to harness the abundant solar resource and convert it to green electricity by using polycrystalline modules. Power from the solar modules will be evacuated through the use of cables to the Project’s 33 kV Switchyard within the plant premises.

At the PSS of 33/110KV, power will be stepped up and will be further evacuated to Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited’s 220 kV Sulekal Substation (GSS).

Power evacuation will be undertaken through one (01) km long 110 kV external transmission line.

The footprint of the project is about 94hectares. Commissioned in May 2023, it has been successfully supplying power to xx different industrial customers.
