The Senior Associate holds a pivotal position within Procurement and Supply Chain Management, collaborating closely with all stakeholders to support the procurement of EPC & OM Contracts along with Free Supply Components. In coordination with Project Engineering and Project Development teams, the Senior Associate ensures operational needs align with strategic directions, and Supply Chain & Procurement requirements are efficiently implemented.

Responsibilities
- [Determine EPC and OM Contract Plans, Qualification requirements of the Supplier, EPC and OM Contractors related to the PV Plant and BESS, which are at Ready to Build (RTB) stage, aligning with Project schedules and stakeholder inputs.
- Relationship building and shortlisting EPC, Supply, and Services contractors/vendors, independently through use of known project management tools/processes/methods including Due Diligence through RFQ process.
- Managing the RFP Process, by compiling technical specifications including Employer Requirements, Scope of Work, Commercial T&C, with shortlisted EPC/OM Contractor and OEMs.
- Facilitate internal coordination with Support Functions including Engineering, Development Quality, Construction, Insurance and Legal team for project requirements, RFP and RFQ
- Ensure Procurement & SCM policy compliance, including drafting and updating the policies and procedures, and adherence to HSE requirements.
- Develop an understanding of current trends in the solar and battery supply chain and analyse and forecast the cost structures for current, upcoming, or prospective projects.
Experience, skills and competencies
- Relevant cumulative work experience of 5-7 years, with 2-3 years in the renewable energy industry preferred.
- Experience in contract management, focused on efficient and organized execution of RFP/RFQ processes.
- Experience in international procurement, particularly within the Renewable Power Industry (Solar, Wind, BESS).
- Proficiency in handling procurement for Solar, BESS and/or Wind generation projects, with a focus on PV System/Battery components and Balance of System (BoS) components.
- Very strong documentation skills, ability to synthesize engineering/business requirements, and prepare RFP/RFQ documents.
- Ability to handle project management tools (such as MS Project/ Wrike/Smart Sheet etc)
- Understanding of contract guidelines like FIDIC, in the renewable power sector, preferably in developed countries/regions (e.g., EU, NA, AUS).
- Proficient in MS Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capability.
- Ability to assimilate data from various secondary sources and provide relevant insights.
- Independent, self-starting, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Effective time management, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.

- Bachelor’s degree in a core engineering discipline (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- A master’s degree/MBA in Operations/Material Management/Supply Chain Management would be advantageous.
